The day began with an acoustic performance of Mackenzie First to the Cégep de Drummondville to meet people and invite them at the evening show. By discussing with the members of the group, we realize the importance of the movement within the group and they are very happy that their music can so pass on as well the message. " Everybody knows closely where by far a case of suicide […] the music is so a good way to show what we feel. "
Yesterday’s show included the bands Delta20, Quebecois rock group from tv-reality show Rock n Road, Duke Squad a punk rock band from Montreal evolving in English, Mackenzie First and Faber Drive, a Canadian group of Alternative rock & pop, native of Vancouver. All of them told me to have appreciated to play on the same stage, to discover the groups who are all so nice, that they would easily have been able to leave another 3 months together (the chemistry between the groups was present). Without forgetting to eat Poutine with the guys of Faber Drive (they have no Poutine in Vancouver!)
Friday (April 8th), was the first Delta20's anniversary and the birthday of the singer Dave Faber from Faber Drive. Delta20 played full rock direct on our ears with new songs which will be soon available on their 1st album that will be release soon. Duke Squad was not aside either; just a lot of talent for this band which already runs for 8 years. The charisma of the group Mackenzie First charmed us during their performance and for Faber Drive, the crowd could not stop dancing! That the guys of Mackenzie First joined the group to dance during "G-Get up and dance» the last single of Faber Drive. A very beautiful movement put in accord by these four groups!
I recommend you strongly to click www.ajoutermavoix.com and to support the cause. So, other concerts are planned for this tour and a donation on every sold ticket will be done to the foundation André Dédé Fortin. The Lost Fingers, Bobby Bazini, Tribute in colocs and Krystale will join Mackenzie First for this other part of the tour. A date is planned in Montreal for September. Visit www.tournéepourlavie.com for all the dates and the information.
